We build every job to the National Building Code, 2023 Alberta Edition, in force since May 1, 2024.
Every secondary suite in Edmonton needs permits, and our legal suite requirements guide sets out what the City checks before it signs off on a suite.
For permitted work, Meadow pulls the permits and books the inspections for you. Our basement permit guide walks through each step and the 2026 fees.
Book a site visit and we walk the space with you, measure and talk through the permits the job needs. The price is built from what we see that day.
Nothing is booked until you sign an agreement with us. Permitted work starts once the City issues the permits, and we book the inspections as the job moves along.
Our workmanship is covered for a year after handover. If our workmanship fails in that time, we come back and repair it. Meadow is licensed and insured in Alberta, with WCB Alberta coverage.
